Paul Jamieson

Paul Jamieson truly lives up to his name “The Music Man”. Also, known as “Jamo”, Paul is London-born of caribbean descent and his songs are fun and infused with contagious rhythms to have people of all ages moving and grooving.

With eight albums, a DVD and numerous television appearances under his belt, Paul is one of Australia’s best and busiest children’s entertainers. Reggae, rap, calypso and pop are just a few of the styles covered in his CDs that are all available at Educational Esteem.

Going Bananas is a popular one with 3 to 8 year olds. It features the popular “Thumbs Up”, “Musical Statues” and “Somebody’s Birthday” – great songs for children’s parties.

Big Balloon is another collection of reggae, pop, african and rap rhythms with tunes like “Lazy Cat”,  Softly”, “Motor Car” and The lively “Zoo Song”.

The Music Man is Paul’s modern classic album with storytelling tunes “Silver Balloon” and “Cut That Grass” and his trademark contagious rhythms on “Let’s Bop”, “The Beat” and “Dancing Shoes”.

Groovin’ Downunder is an Australian-flavoured collection with touches of didgeridoos, kookaburras and bonza beats. Popular songs include “My Oh My”, “The Stomp” and “Tappin’ to the Beat”. Parents will appreciate this album too and it’s a great one for car journeys.

Jamo also performs with his fairy friend Anastasia on Beautiful Day, which is recording of their 50-minute show they perform around Australia. This album encourages children to dance, sing and play. The music has important messages of caring for the environment and appreciating nature.

You can also experience a ‘Jamo’  Christmas with his special holiday album. Christmas with Jamo is a very funky christmas album that veers away from traditional festive tunes to bring you “Reindeer On My Roof” and “No Snow” – story-telling songs perfect for when you are decorating the tree or wrapping presents. “Christmas Time” and “Reindeer’s A’rockin” are guaranteed groover songs so kids and adults alike can have a festive boogie.
