Aunty Wendys Mob Happy To Be Me (Book+CD)

Wendy Notley is a non-Aboriginal early childhood trained teacher. She began working with Aboriginal children in 1990 at Marawina Multi-purpose Aboriginal Child Care Centre in Eveleigh St, Redfern. It was this experience that inspired her first album, Growin' Up Strong. Wendy's second album, Happy To Be Me, continues to honour Aboriginal children and celebrate Aboriginal cultures. Happy to be Me portrays experiences that all children can relate to, with two songs happily 'mixing-it-up' with Torres Strait Islander, Greek and Lebanese cultures. The children on the CD sing with such joy and you can hear it in their voices. These songs are for everyone. Enjoy!
