The circular 'tunnel' appears through the cut-out design of each page so that through the 5" hole on page 1, we see the whole Solar System as it would appear to us if we were seeing it from the Sun. The three-dimensional effect and the beautiful artwork of the planets against the deep black of space all around them combine to give us a real feeling for the wonder, the magic of space. We are in awe. The information on each planet (plus the Asteroid Belt) and on the Sun is state of the art, yet presented in a clear, readable style which makes it accessible to all.
