Simple Folk Dances (Ages 3-6)

Easy to do - loads of fun! These techniques are simple, motivating, effective and easily adaptable for use by classroom teachers, special education specialists, physical education teachers and remediation specialists. You'll enjoy simple traditional folk dances that are slow, repetitive and contain the basic coordination skills children need to develop. Each dance has rhyming words that describe or direct the movement. They are fun and easy to learn. Selections 1-9 contain music with narrative directions. Each dance is repeated twice. Selections 10-18 contain music only, again with each dance being repeated twice.
